Morgan Owen – The Start
Morgan Owen’s journey into organizational and people management began at 17 when she assumed the responsibilities of an office administrator for an entire summer, sparking her passion for learning more about operational dynamics. This experience propelled her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources and Marketing at Florida State University, where she interned in both the FSU Human Resources and Boosters departments. During this time, she also honed her skills at a financial office, discovering her affinity for developing and maintaining efficient systems and procedures.
Morgan Owen – Evolution and Growth
In 2008, Morgan Owen and her husband relocated to California to embark on new career endeavors, starting in the non-profit sector. Over 14 years, Morgan made significant strides, establishing and revitalizing multiple departments within the organization. Notably, she pioneered the Special Events department, significantly enhancing awareness and fundraising efforts for ongoing programs and capital campaigns. As an operations and development executive director, Morgan oversaw comprehensive initiatives, including team hiring, training, process development, and growth strategies across various functions such as customer service, development, special events, communications, marketing, supply chain management, operations, facilities, an immersive museum, and volunteer programs.
Bringing Organizational Mission to BSTG
In 2022, Morgan Owen transitioned to Be Structured Technology Group (BSTG) as an Account Manager, leveraging her strategic planning expertise to provide exceptional support to BSTG’s diverse client base. Recognizing her capability to drive organizational excellence, Morgan was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), focusing on optimizing performance and cultivating a top-tier service desk team to elevate client success at BSTG.
Outside of her professional achievements, Morgan Owen is a mom and an avid enthusiast of Taylor Swift and the FSU Seminoles.
